Aujourd'hui, Je vous montre l'hôtel Verhaegen à Gand (Gent). Certains d'entre nous connaissent déjà cette chambre d'hôtes et d'autres pas encore. Pourtant la maison est connue dans le monde entier. Construit vers 1768 sur "l'Oude Houtlei" et enrichi par la suite. La belle maison combine un jeu de style rocaille,
Louis XVI et des touches d'Empire.
Depuis quelques années l'hôtel Verhaegen à de nouveaux propriétaires: Marc Vergauwe et Jan Rosseel, qui y on installé leur bureau d'études Neoo Selon Neo: http://www.neooselonneo.be/.
Ils ont aussi installé des chambres d'hôtes superbe avec une très bonne réputation.
La maison se trouve à l'écart du centre de Gand dans un quartier tranquille. Elle possède un beaux jardin d’intérieur dans le pur style dix-huitième.
Pour moi personnellement, ma journée serait parfaite par un petit déjeuner dans cette belle salle à manger ornée de peintures murales signées Pieter-Nobert van Reysschoot.
Les chambres vous ramène dans le passé, à l'époque ou Mozart a visité la ville et la maison est aussi pleine de coin surprenants.
