Le château de Seille


Bonjour mes amis!

Aujourd'hui, on va faire un tour au château de Seille qui est a vendre pour l'instant. 
Le château date du XVIIIème siècle (1764) et se trouve dans la région de Gand en Belgique. Je trouve ce petit château très charmant, il se trouve dans un cadre unique pour notre petit pays. Le château à connu jusqu’à présent que trois occupants:  le Comte de Bousies, Russel Page et son propriétaire actuel.
Les jardins avec un étang magnifique été dessinés par Russel Page et Wirtz.
 La dernière rénovation a été faite avec des matériaux nobles et les finitions de haute gamme.

    This is simply wonderful and how we should love it all, with the possible exception of the swimming pool as we are not really interested in swimming itself.

    But the house and grounds are magnificent and we particularly like the plum colour with which the hall, stairs and landing is painted. And the view back to the house from the canal is lovely.

  2. Dear Jérôme - I really admire this lovely château de Seille which is in delightful surroundings and in an immaculate condition. The only thing I am not partial to are the dead animal skins on the floor and skeletal heads on the walls.

  5. Love seeing the inside of old chateaus. This one has great features such as the exquisite molding on the walls, the fine flooring and beautiful fireplaces.

    Superbe chateau! Je pense que Axel Vervoordt était l'architect d'interieur. Ou le designer était vraiment influencé de lui!

  9. Beautiful and charming! It has a lovely feel and lovely light. I love the finises on the wall, colours and panelling but wish they had gone for a lighter floor! Everything else is superb. Lovely tour Jerome.
