Bonjour,
Le château de la Poste est construit en 1895 par Charles-Joseph Logé. En 1911 le château est acheté par un rentier Bruxellois, Philibert Mahy Duc de Montellano et del Arco et la Comtesse Ferdinant du Monceau de Berghendael.
le château de la poste est vendu en 1913 au Prince Victor Napoléon qui s’y installe avec son épouse la Princesse Clémentine de Belgique, fille de Léopold II et leur fille Marie-Clotilde.
A cette époque,Jules Buysens, 1er architecte paysagiste Belge, dessine le parc et crée le style pittoresque.
Le château de la Poste, fut la demeure de la Princesse Clémentine pendant plus de 40 ans.
En 1957 : Achat du Château par le Fonds Spécial d’Assistance aux Postiers qui affecte le lieu en centre de vacances pour son personnel. depuis ce jour on l'appelle: château de la Poste.
En 2009, dans le respect du lieu et de ses richesses, Olivia Gustot, architecte d'intérieur, associée au bureau d'architecture Iceberg et a la célebre maison belge Marie's Corner a orchestré les rénovations de ce lieu empreint d'histoire.
Un décor emprunt de modernité aux allures décalées. La griffe audacieuse et élégante de Marie's Corner vous invite au rêve et a la paresse dans un décor contemporain aux tons automnales.
Au détour des couloirs, découvrez la touche de Nicolas Le Beuan Benic et le clin d'oeil d'Elric Petit avec sa tête d'élan. Ce génie de la décoration a revisité le célebre trophée de chasse en un objet ludique et contemporain qui ne manquera pas de vous faire sourire.
